Mom! Let’s sell our caramel sauce!

Hi, my name is Maude and I am so glad you found us!

Our story began in Canmore, Alberta, where I raised two active little mountain daughters. At a time when keeping them in their competitive sports was financially challenging, they enthusiastically suggested we start selling our highly sought-after homemade caramel sauce. After all, everybody loved our family recipe! Just like that, Drop was born — out of resilience and a profound love for sharing exceptional caramel. ♥

What started as a way to keep my girls doing what they loved grew into something we never expected. Our generations-old recipe found its way into homes, coffee shops and communities across the Rockies and beyond — creating sweet moments of joy and connection along the way.

In 2026, our path took us from Canmore to Cochrane, so my youngest daughter Maggie could pursue her passion for horseback riding. Along the way, our beloved caramel sauce has grown into syrups, brittle, new flavours and fun formats. Yet the dream remains the same: to support passions and offer you, our dearest customers, the sweetest of moments! ♥

Our Family Recipe

The origin of our special recipe is a mystery but it has been in our family for generations. My grandma made it on a regular basis and the myth lives on that none of it had time to cool off before her many children ate it straight from the pot! Hummmm, YUM!

When I was a kid, it was our tradition to offer a jar of our prized caramel sauce to friends and family. A tradition I have pursued with my own children and that I hope you will adopt too! We love to share our special treat and giggle about how we all secretly eat it by the spoonful…It brings a sense of community and fun to our lives.

There are so many ways to enjoy our caramel products. Drizzle them over ice cream, pour in your coffee, dip apples in or simply snack straight from the package.
